In episode 19 of the Gold & Blue Breakdown Show, Couz and Jonathan talk about the current WVU football head coaching vacancy and what candidates would be best to replace Neal Brown, who was fired a few days prior. They will mainly focus on rumored candidates, Jimbo Fisher and Rich Rodriguez, two West Virginia natives who have reportedly shown interest in the job. Couz and Jonathan will explain why they think each of these coaches would be good hires for WVU A.D. Wren Baker.

The guys will also talk about the successful 2025 recruiting class West Virginia was able to sign, despite not having a head coach in place to replace Brown. They will talk about a few key recruits and talk about where the WVU class ranks compared to some of their peer institutions.
