March is for REST - day 1, ya'll - here's your challenge today...

If you're reading this - you're CHOOSING to be on social media.

Social media has gotten a bad wrap (rap?) - and we're gonna change that.

My first challenge in the March is for Rest challenge is to use social media as a tool to slow down, get uncomfortable, be present.

HOW?

When you CHOOSE to open social media and CHOOSE to scroll - CHOOSE to read / listen all the way.

No more forwarding through stories. Stop, turn on the sound, listen.

No more breezing through captions. Stop, read, pause, comment.

If you find this hard because a lot of the people / accounts you follow are boring, uninteresting, not worth your true presence - hmmm... perhaps you choose to then unfollow?

By choosing to actually READ the post / caption, to actually LISTEN to the video / story - you're resting. You're being present. You're SLOWING DOWN.

And ohhhhhhhhhhh I bet for some of ya'll this is going to be REALLLLLLLLY uncomfortable.

The more uncomfortable it is... the more you need to learn to slow the fuck down.

This can be a fun / easy way to put on the training wheels.
