Denis Rose is a highly respected Gunditjmara man. As far as we know, he was the first Indigenous person ever employed as a a National Park Ranger. Over a lifelong career, he has played a catalytic role in developing the Indigenous Protected Area Program and continues to work, to both manage country and improve the lives of all Indigenous people.
