Ever since it opened, the biggest complaint about the light rail in Sydney is that it's so slow! So tonight on Sydney Tonight listen in as I try to find out just how slow it is by racing it from Circular Quay to Bridge Street. But that's not all- you'll also hear from comedian Max Dary with a scoop on some festive AI "art" at Redfern Station, and pop duo Cat and Calmell stop by to chat about their upcoming headline tour which you can still get tickets for!
RACING THE LIGHT RAIL
After seeing pedestrians overtaking me while riding the light rail one too many times, I decided to see just how slow the big red beast is by racing it from one stop to another entirely on foot. It's the ultimate showdown between man and machine, and you don't want to miss the result.
CAT AND CALMELL
After releasing their latest mixtape Live Laugh Cool Star, musicians Cat and Calmell join me on Sydney Tonight to talk about their favourite places to eat in Parramatta, their outfits that they wore to the ARIA awards, and what to expect from their upcoming show at the Lansdowne Hotel on 19th December.
REDFERN AI ART
Comedian Max Dary stopped by the Sydney Tonight studios to give you the scoop on what's been happening with a Christmas AI banner that was hung up at Redfern Station. After being torn to shreds online for just how bad it was, the banner was replaced, but the memory will live on.
Sydney Tonight is produced at 2SER studios in Ultimo, Sydney. The show is broadcast every Tuesday night at 7:30pm from Chatswood to Cherrybrook, Blacktown to Bankstown, Parramatta to Penrith!
