Ep. 20: The Things We Say TO Ourselves ABOUT Ourselves Matter

If you really want to change your life - if you really want to change your reality - it isn't enough to just change your conscious awareness and the conscious choices you make in response to the world around you. Because research has shown that up to 95% of what our brain does is completely at the subconscious level. Which means that 95% of our emotions, our behaviors, our thoughts and feelings, the actions we take, the choices we make is not even within our conscious awareness. We do it subconsciously. 95% of our life is basically just running on a program. And that program is run by our subconscious mind.  

So if you want to change your life, your reality, or the trajectory of the path you're headed toward in your future, you need to change your subconscious mind. You need to change your subconscious beliefs, values, and the lens or the filter that you see everything through. 

And a big part of what shapes our subconscious mind is how we talk to ourselves. The beliefs we form about ourselves, which is shaped by the words we say to ourselves. And that is why it is so important to be intentional about the things we say to ourselves and the things we choose to believe about ourselves.
