Alvin and German conduct a great conversation with U.S. District Court Judge for the District of Massachusetts, Angel Kelley.’89. Recently nominated by President Joe Biden to the federal Bench, Judge Kelley joins the federal judiciary with 12 years’ experience as a state court judge and has led several initiatives to ensure racial justice is incorporated into the overall delivery of justice for all. After graduating from Colgate University, she graduated received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and achieved an LL.M. from Temple University School of Law. Before her judicial career, Judge Kelley had approximately 17 years of experience as a trial attorney and teacher. Judge Kelley’s commitment to legal education extends beyond the U.S. borders and includes international educational programs. While at Colgate, she received her BA in Sociology and Anthropology.
