Nduta Mugo is split between public health and the life sciences.

She is currently a researcher in public health because of her interests in health and science policy. A trained biotechnologist, she bridges the chasm between scientists and the public and provides inspiration for young and future scientists through her various science communication activities. Her free time is spent performing and teaching the violin.
