This week starts out with the usual wine, FMC Rewind, Views from the Couch, and update on Pete’s training. In there Pete talks about a dream (nightmare?) where he was back at his first half-marathon and it didn’t go so well. There’s also a point where Pete turns a bit vulnerable and is promptly swatted down by Gretchen. It’s an interesting look inside how these two communicate.

The bulk of the episode then talks about the day they spent with their good friends, Carla and David. Pete and David talked a lot about the fat-adapted lifestyle. As they talked about what fits in the lifestyle, poor David kept hoping some of his favorites would be ok. Spoiler alert – they’re not.

David was also interested in the science, which Pete loves and makes Gretchen’s eyes glaze over. In the end, they had some NSNG pizza and a great time!
