This is the second part of our conversation about American high school life. In this episode, we talked about campus safety. What Wini has faced is actually quite frightening — the very real possibility of a school shooting. Meanwhile, here in China, we face different challenges, such as sudden life changes and heavy responsibilities. We also discussed the confusion and reflections we’ve had about choosing teaching as a profession. Our understandings of it turned out to be very different.
