Afie Jurvanen talks about love, empathy, depression, and his new record Earthtones. The Toronto-based musician talks about choosing to love his absent father, which informed the track “Bad Boys Need Love Too”.

“I think there’s probably some way to hold people accountable for their actions,” Afie tells Terry, “but do it with empathy, and do it with compassion, and realize we have to live on this planet together. It’s just the realization that things can be done with love as opposed to hate.
