Hello, strangers! This week’s episode is brought to you by a beer we happened to have on hand, a delicious citra IPA that warranted we head out to the west coast and visit Woodinville, WA. Which, as we all know, is the most hoppin’ travel destination of all time. Real talk: this episode is full of bad, late-night jokes, Jordan’s newfound Downton Abbey obsession, and surprisingly abundant murder stories.
Oh, and also Sasquatch facts, hotdog debates, and more. Truly, we had so much fun with a laid back episode and hope you enjoy it. As always, we love to give credit where credit is due! Jordan found all her information at all the links listed below. And Chelsea found lots of great murder details from the Seattle Times (one, two) and Seatle PI.
Notable Show Moments05:07 — That crackin’ good ASMR for you
07:57 — Where the heck is Woodinville, WA?
21:00 — Impressions of Chelsea’s doggos
27:00 — Where does the name hotdog come from? Help us.
29:35 — Sasquatch fun facts
33:00 — Turns out, this place has a grip of murders
Holy Water Citra IPA by Sumerian Brewing Company — A delightfully easy-drinking IPA, if we do say so ourselves. Citra IPAs are always one of our favorites, so we may be biased.
Downtown District — Adorable downtown area with brick roads
Woodinville Subdivision — Dinner trains! Someone go and tell us if they are themed.
Chateau Ste Michelle Winery — Apparently, Jordan has a bottle of this in her home.
Tertulia Cellars — Another winery to enjoy!
Columbia Winery — *Channels inner DJ Khaled* Another one
Woodinville Whiskey Company — Produces bourbon, ryes, and other American whiskeys. It also has a make your own whiskey kit, which Jordan needs for Christmas.
Barking Frog — Not the Barking Dog, which means dogs aren’t allowed, unfortunately. Darn its $$$$.
The Herbfarm — Serves a nine course dinner with wine pairings! And won some fancy awards.
Teatro ZinZanni — A dinner theatre with the tagline Love, Chaos, and Dinner, sounds SO amazing
Dandy Dogs — Glorified hot dog cart with a TON of five star reviews. One dollar sign goodness.
Thank you so much for listening! We are so incredibly grateful for your support, love, and ongoing attention. You must like us to be here, and we just have to admit we like you too. If you haven’t given us a review on Apple Podcasts yet, your 5-star feedback helps us reach more people. Which is what we want, obviously. The more the merrier!
Until next time — stay weird, le strangers.
