The podcast currently has 24 episodes available.
Happy Monday, Strangers! We’re delighted to be back with a new episode of Passport Le Strange, but are sad to share that it will be our last episode. After nearly six months of exploration, murder, and general shenanigans, we put our heads and hearts together and made the tough decision to focus our energies on our other passion projects and professional hustles. We’re sad to say goodbye to the podcast, but excited for all our adventures ahead.
More than anything, we want to say thank you. Thank you for letting us be apart of your lives, infiltrating your car stereos, work headphones, and home sound systems. It’s been an honor and a privilege to have had your support, and we truly cannot express how grateful we are for everyone who ever listened to our show. Especially you.
And don’t worry -- although our episodes will eventually come down when our website eventually expires, our adventures will live on forever in the form of a YouTube channel. You can find all of our episodes converted over to video form along with some behind the scenes bonus content over at bit.ly/PassportLeStrange (please note the capitalized letters are important!).
To send things off, we’ve decided to each choose our bucket list destination. Jordan kicks the episode off with Tokyo, Japan, where you’ll also hear about an unsolved cold case. Chelsea then takes us to Antarctica, which she isn’t so sure you should *actually* visit — but apparently the continent does have an attempted murder and an interesting chess fun fact.
What We’re Drinking Today
Hibiki Whisky — Who would have guessed Japan has amazing whiskey? Jordan, that’s who. To send off our last episode, she dips into one of her favorite alcohol food groups and enjoys every sip.
Strawberry Iceberg — Because Antarctica doesn’t have any breweries, Chelsea opted for a drink she loved on her honeymoon. A light beer topped with a frozen strawberry margarita. 10/10 yummy.
All about Tokyo
Robot Restaurant — A super popular restaurant with live robot entertainment
Sumo wrestling — Catch a practice if you’re looking for a more budget freindly option
Animal café — Owls! Hedgehogs! And kitties! Oh my!
Indianapolis has a cat café which I’ve been to but there are so many
Sensoji — Tokyo’s oldest temple
Real life Mario Kart — With a valid Japanese or international driver’s license, of course
Harajuku neighborhood — High fashion! Very “Kawaii” style in anime and fashion. Very bubblegum and pop-like
Tsukiji Fish Market — Get the freshest seafood
Take a cooking class — Bring skills home, not just souvenirs
Eat all the food — Sushi, Omakase, Kaiseki, Wagyu beef, Tempura, Ramen, Yakiniku (BBQ), Gyoza, Sake, Japanese Tea Ceremony
All about Antarctica
There’s not a lot to say here, folks. It’s a continent with no restaurants or experiences to achieve outside of whatever travel company gets you there.
Thank you again for everything, Strangers. We are so lucky to have had this experience, and for you having been along on the ride with us. Please feel free to reach out to us at any time on Instagram (@TheTravelBuffet, @chelseamberlynn), we’re always here and would love to stay in touch! Especially if you are looking to plan a trip anytime soon, Jordan is a pro. Find her expertise at https://www.thetravelbuffet.com — trust us, you won’t be disappointed.
Until next time, friends. We love you.
Hello, strangers! This week’s episode is brought to you by a beer we happened to have on hand, a delicious citra IPA that warranted we head out to the west coast and visit Woodinville, WA. Which, as we all know, is the most hoppin’ travel destination of all time. Real talk: this episode is full of bad, late-night jokes, Jordan’s newfound Downton Abbey obsession, and surprisingly abundant murder stories.
Oh, and also Sasquatch facts, hotdog debates, and more. Truly, we had so much fun with a laid back episode and hope you enjoy it. As always, we love to give credit where credit is due! Jordan found all her information at all the links listed below. And Chelsea found lots of great murder details from the Seattle Times (one, two) and Seatle PI.
Notable Show Moments05:07 — That crackin’ good ASMR for you

Downtown District — Adorable downtown area with brick roads
Woodinville Subdivision — Dinner trains! Someone go and tell us if they are themed.
Chateau Ste Michelle Winery — Apparently, Jordan has a bottle of this in her home.
Tertulia Cellars — Another winery to enjoy!
Columbia Winery — *Channels inner DJ Khaled* Another one
Woodinville Whiskey Company — Produces bourbon, ryes, and other American whiskeys. It also has a make your own whiskey kit, which Jordan needs for Christmas.
Barking Frog — Not the Barking Dog, which means dogs aren’t allowed, unfortunately. Darn its $$$$.
The Herbfarm — Serves a nine course dinner with wine pairings! And won some fancy awards.
Teatro ZinZanni — A dinner theatre with the tagline Love, Chaos, and Dinner, sounds SO amazing
Dandy Dogs — Glorified hot dog cart with a TON of five star reviews. One dollar sign goodness.
Thank you so much for listening! We are so incredibly grateful for your support, love, and ongoing attention. You must like us to be here, and we just have to admit we like you too. If you haven’t given us a review on Apple Podcasts yet, your 5-star feedback helps us reach more people. Which is what we want, obviously. The more the merrier!
Until next time — stay weird, le strangers.
