On the 31st March 2006, 27 year old medical student, Brian Shaffer decided to go bar hopping with a friend in Columbus, Ohio to celebrate the end of his mid terms.

On Monday 3rd April, he was due to fly to Miami with his girlfriend where it was thought he may propose, the vacation was a gift from Brian's mother who had recently passed away from cancer.

The evening of drinking was normal, two young men, hopping into bars, enjoying a drink. When they bumped into another friend, they headed back to the bar the two men started in, The Ugly Tuna Salooner, with CCTV picking up Brian and his friends entering at 1:15am on the 1st April 2006. At 1:55am, Brian is seen on the same CCTV talking to two women outside, before heading back into The Ugly Tuna Salooner - this is the last sighting of him, from this point on, Brian has vanished!

What happened to Brian? Where did he go? Is it possible for someone to just vanish into thin air?

20 years on, Brian's case still remains a mystery but is still widely spoken about with rumours and theories circulating on forums.
