Barb Demorest is a wife, mom, grandma, breast cancer survivor and founder of Knitted Knockers. In 2011 she was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent a mastectomy. After surgery she wanted to return to normal life as soon as possible and was very discouraged that there were no good options for breast prosthesis. From her doctor she learned about a knitted prosthesis which a friend made for her. From the moment on she had a new mission in life - to provide knitted knockers for women who needed them.
