'Bat Out of Hell' by Meat Loaf, released in 1977, struck a chord with tales of teen lust and frustration and spawned hit songs in 'Two Out of Three Ain't Bad' and 'Paradise by the Dashboard Light.' It went on to sell 14 million copies.
The album is also a favorite of Greg Wilson, friend of Dad Rock co-host Patrick Foster. Wilson joins Foster and Jim Lenahan in the studio to remember what it was like to discover the record while actually an emotional teenager.
This week, Dad Rock is glowing like the metal on the edge of a knife.
