On December 15th, 2022, 11 year old Madalina Cojocari was reported missing in Cornelius, North Carolina. Her mother, Diana Cojocari, initially told the police that she last saw her daughter on the night of November 23rd. However, investigators soon discovered that nobody outside the family had seen Madalina after November 21st. This discrepancy raised suspicions, especially as it became apparent that Diana, along with her husband, Christopher Palmiter, were withholding crucial information, impeding the progress of the investigation.
