Earle Nelson was born with what some have said to have a darkness in his eyes. He showed signs in his early childhood of disassociation and Anti-Social Personality disorders.  

During this time, treatment for mental disorders were often barbaric and often left untreated.  In Earle's case, the lack of treatment led to a murderous crime spree across the US and ending over the border in Canada.  In total the known amount of women killed is 22 though in our opinion, this number could have been higher.
