Elizabeth Short's murder just shy of 80 years ago has been one that most people in the true crime world know well.  It is a case that we find intriguing and mysterious.  With well over 17 suspects in her traumatic murder the case still remains cold to this day.

In the 1930's in the Cleveland Ohio area an unidentified serial killer was at large.  During the Depression era in the Kingsbury Run shanty town known for bars and brothels, there were 12 torso's found in a three year span.  

Eliot Ness who is famed for bringing down Al Capone was brought on board to solve the case, it was never offically solved.  There have been some rumblings that the torso killer may have also been the killer of the Black Dahlia.

1967-1980 in New York and New Jersey, there was a serial killer who would torture his victims and eventually dismember them.  Richard Cottingham was a husband, father and loyal employee at Blue Cross Blue Shield.  He was known to have a fetish of S&M but no one could possibly know that they were in the midst of a gruesome and demented killer.

On Thanksgiving Eve 2018 Pastor Chris Gattis shot and killed his wife, setp daughter and her boyfriend.  Tensions had been high for over 48 hours.  The neighbors and co-workers were shocked as Chris was known to be a great neighbor and friend.  Neighbors and co workers were beyond shocked thinking that Chris could never have been capabe of such a violent act.

This is a case that reminds you that......you never REALLy know who your neighbors are.

Chad and Lori Daybell are both facing criminal charges in connection to the deaths of 7-year-old Joshua "JJ" Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan. The children's bodies were found buried on the Chad Daybell's Idaho property after a nationwide search.  

This has also lead to to the arrests of both Lori and Chad.  They are facing various charges but currently murder is not one of them.   This has also lead to many more questions in regards to other people who have also ended up deceased. 

The trial has been combined and they are both scheduled for trial in mid 2021.

On Septemebr 13th 2004 Charlie Brandt killed is wife, neice and then himself.  While many people were shocked that Charlie could have done something so unthinkable, his sister held a dark family secret.

While this dark secret was kept quiet, Charlie's wife Teri's parents are almost certain that if this secret was known, it could have saved many lives.

In the morning hours of October 31st 2010 a family would be murdered.  They would be found later that day by their youngest son after he was concerned that his mother still had not gotten out of bed at 1:30pm.

Could it have been a robbery or random intruder or someone much closer to the family?  

Known as the Vampire, Werewolf and butcher of Hanover Germany. Fritz Haarmann murdered 70 + boys ranging between 10-18 years old in the years of 1918 through 1924,   He was convited of murdering 22-24 of his victims. He had a lover during that time and it is believed that he helped lure at least two boys to their apartment though never killing anyone directly.

On February 19th 2013 Elisa Lam was found floating in a water tank on the roof of the Cecil Hotel in Los Angeles.  Her death was ruled an accidental drowning, but was this something far more sinister or paranormal?

When you fall in love the progression of the relationship is often marriage and a family.  If you have a traditional wedding, the vows state "till death do us part". We are hoepful that it will be many many years before that vow is fulfilled.
