Join Schell & Danielle in Season 3 as we discuss Jesus in the here and now.
What does it look like to grieve, be angry, experience sadness and joy, hope, or the myriad of emotions God's way?
What does it look like to draw closer to Jesus and those walking with Him as we experience these hard circumstances?
What does God's Way say about how we feel?
Hint: How we feel is not who we are.
What happens in the middle space between acknowledgment and moving forward?
Scripture
Psalm 31:9- "Be merciful to me, Lord, for I am in distress; my eyes grow weak with sorrow, my soul and body with grief. (NIV)"
Psalms 30:5 “Weeping may last for the night, But a shout of joy comes in the morning. (NASB1995)”
Isaiah 53:3-5 “He was despised and forsaken of men, A man of sorrows and acquainted with grief; And like one from whom men hide their face He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. Surely our griefs He Himself bore, And our sorrows He carried; Yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken, Smitten of God, and afflicted. But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, And by His scourging we are healed. (NASB1995)”
