This week's gust is my new friend Sarah. She is an author, blogger, a Contributing Writer for Waco Moms, an online parenting publication and affiliate of the national network City Mom Collective. In 2021 Sarah released her first book “A Perfect Storm: Devotions During a Crisis”, which is her personal story of how God walked her family through a life-threatening crisis.
Sarah has enjoyed the opportunity to speak and encourage women at events, as well as through interviews on podcasts and televised segments to share her testimony and raise awareness to educate about the signs of strokes in children. Sarah and her husband, Mark, have been married 21 years, and live in Waco with their three children Seth, Hannah Grace, and Adalee.
Our conversation is rich in applicable practices each of us can do as we walk through a crisis situation in our lives. Honestly, you can use these tips for everyday living, not just during those seasons in the valleys of life. The overarching theme is the goodness & faithfulness of God. Seeing that and then being willing to share it in vulnerable ways that will help others recognize the movement of God in their own stories. Sometimes all it takes it listening to someone else point out God's fingerprints for us to see similar workings in us. That is exactly what Sarah shares in our chat and what a blessing it is!
