Andy Murray carried the weight of a nation for most of his career. His accomplishments in an era of Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, and Roger Federer are absolutely mind blowing. Some say: there's the Big 3, then Murray, then everybody else. But he failed several times before getting there. 

Before he could win Wimbledon, he had to lose it. A very painful loss to Roger Federer in 2012, after being a set up then losing in 4 sets.

And then, redemption: a rematch came quicker then anyone anticipated, on the grounds of SW19 again, where Murray had a chance to redeem himself in front of his home crowd and give them something to appease their longing. In straight sets, Murray would win the biggest title of his career so far. What awaited next is history.
