This one is a little heavy, folks. BUT we HAVE to talk about this s**t!
If you haven't watched MAID on Netflix, go. Now. If not for yourself, for the victims in your life.
This show is so important in so many ways, but starting this conversation about abusive relationships was major for me. What started as a casual girls night turned into a real, adult conversation about our trauma and reality of the world we live in.
I want to dive deeper into the show, my reactions, and some moments that triggered me.
We need to speak openly about these things and if you don't have friends in your life that you can talk to about this, hi. It's me. That's what I am here to do. I am here to be your voice and insight into the abusive world of toxic relationships.
Love that for me.
But in all seriousness, I hope this episode brings you comfort, brings you some perspective, and showcases that I can be a real human sometimes :/
