It's not for monks and gurus, but for anyone who decides that it might be for them. I was resistant to meditation for a long while. I thought I couldn't sit still long enough and wondered how I'd silence my thoughts. Turns out I had it wrong. I love the opportunity it gives me to sit still, and I learned that rather than silencing my thoughts I could allow them to pass me by without giving them an emotional response, but instead allowing them to be just what they are, thoughts.
On today's episode I tell you what meditation has done for me and I walk along with you during a guided breathing meditation. So set down the heavy machinery, find a comfortable space, and let's get started.
