Hello and welcome to episode 27 of Mind Bloom!
This week, your host, Marina Gee, reflects on the stigma surrounding mental illness, particularly men's mental illness, and suggests the debunking of the limiting beliefs that make us buy into the notion that we're not good at this or that. These limiting beliefs are not thruthful, they cripple our full potential and serve as excuses for not exploring at length our biggest goals and dreams.
This week, Marina speaks with Agent Scott Hardy, co-host of the podcast Spy Hards, which is all about, you guessed it, spy movies. Scott is an amazing guest: he knows a thing or two about classic spy cinema, and he has a personal knowledge of eating disorders, like anorexia and bulimia, and body dysmorphia. For more than twenty years, Scott has experienced and dealt with the devastating effects of bulimia and an inaccurate self-representation of his physical makeup. Listen through to discover the causes and the consequences associated with Scott's eating and anxiety-related disorders.
