Shrien was released unharmed, but Anni was later found shot dead in the abandoned vehicle. Investigations revealed a murder-for-hire plot, with evidence suggesting that Shrien had orchestrated the killing with local conspirators. However, after a high-profile trial, Shrien was acquitted due to insufficient evidence, while the hired gunmen and the taxi driver were convicted. The case remains controversial....
