Because, believe it or not, you get influenced by the people around you. If you want more positivity in your life, choose to surround yourself with people who are positive around you...etc.

And of course, positive people will want to be around you, ONLY if you are positive person yourself. So keep in mind, in order to get those people into your life, you do have to also BE that yourself...just side note :)
