We’re back with episode 280 of #TSRP and Spann is fired up, so we walk right on past those Random Thoughts and get right In The News, where more details have now emerged on what may have caused the crash that took the lives of Kobe Bryant, is 13 year old daughter Gianna, and 7 others. TMZ finds themselves becoming a part of the story in this as well as the local police aren’t happy with the tabloid for breaking the news of Kobe Bryant’s death, before they could notify his family properly. And the impeachment trial of Donald Trump is coming to a predictable end. But the fact that Senate Republicans made a concerted effort to suppress witness testimony as more evidence was coming to public knowledge in this trial sets this impeachment apart from all others.

Then it’s time for Blue Blazes, where a Detroit area woman bites off the tongue of a man while they were kissing. A Tennessee man fires up a joint while in court facing marijuana charges. And Terry Crews is being run through all of the ringers on social media for not having the back of Gabrielle Union in her allegations of America’s Got Talent having a racial sensitivity issue. He then later doubled down on his comments, and THEN he apologized. Is he the worst kind of Black Man though?

The Special Hotep Unit makes a return, as resident Captain of this division, Umar Johnson went out of his way to peddle a conspiracy theory around the Kobe Bryant death. Are y’all still giving this dude money?

Off to Proud To Be An American where Don Lemon found himself in hot water in Republican circles after a segment of his show had guest openly mocking Trump Voters. Lemon has since apologized for laughing during the segment, but should he have? And a conservative anti-Trump group is now running ads attacking Trump allies in the government! I know, it’s crazy to us too!
