Beth Silvers is a podcaster who co-hostsPantsuit Politics and The Nuanced Life, a life coach, lawyer, wife and mom. She is passionate about people and curious about their stories and what makes them tick. I have often said that Pantsuit Politics is the most intelligent and respectful conversation on politics that I have heard in a long time and I appreciate so much the voice of moderation that both she and her co-host bring to the show.

Beth and I talk about life choices, podcasting, moderate politics, women's voices and stories, being introverts, white privilege (I mention this episode of The Daily), the danger of othering (we share a love of Brene Brown and particularly her book Braving the Wilderness) and the myth of balance and how she is aiming for her life to have more cohesion than balance.

We also talk about lighter things such as organizing spice racks, Survivor,  and my embarrassing confession of mind candy.

One of the things that Beth no longer does is work full time outside the home. She left her corporate job several months ago to have more time to pursue her true passions which are lived out through podcasting and coaching.
