"Love isn't one size fits all. It's a lifelong practice and learning to speak someone else's heart language." --Angela
In this episode, listeners will learn:
In this episode, I’m digging deeper than the question, “What’s your love language?” because I think the better question is, “What makes you feel seen right now, and why?” I’m joined by my Bestie Boo, Jasleen Kaur, who’s been married for nearly 20 years after saying “I do” at just 19. Together, we unpack Gary Chapman’s Five Love Languages, what still rings true, what feels a little outdated, and how to use them as tools for connection instead of boxes that limit us.
We share honest stories about what love looks like through different seasons, how small things like a heartfelt “thank you,” a cup of coffee made with intention, or putting the phone away during dinner can completely shift how we feel seen and supported. Then, I bring in one of my favorite tools, the Enneagram, to explore why we crave love the way we do and how our type influences how we show up in relationships.
By the end, I hope you’ll see that love languages and the Enneagram aren’t just quizzes, they’re mirrors that help us listen better, love deeper, and grow together with more awareness, intention, and grace.
