In Part 1 of our conversation, Lori shares with us her personal experience of instinctively forging a new path in motherhood, and the possibilities that have become available to her as a result of this choice.

We discuss the importance of maintaining a strong identity outside of motherhood, balancing the work of parenting with creating friendship within a mother-daughter relationship, and how the inner work that comes with parenting is as much for the parent as it is for our children.
