gotta be that wonderful tv commercial with all the guys in mario/yoshi/dk/pikachu suits wailing on each other.
I remember with smash 64 my brothers and I immediately agreed to pool our allowance to buy it as soon as it came out.

My favorite Smash Bros memory was in a match with my pal Micah in brawl. He ran and tripped right as a babomb exploded. He screamed louder than I have ever heard anyone scream in my whole life. It was hilarious.
(I don't even think the explosion hit him):rofl:Mechadragon101
As much hate as Brawl gets, it did help connect tons of my friends in high school
Especially with my close high school friends, we used to play Brawl all night long on Fridays after classes.
Actually remember inviting my old high school friends to come to the Gamestop with me to buy the game with me lol
That's the biggest one I can think of, my history with Smash honestly started in Brawl since I didn't had a Nintendo console to play the original or Melee
Also btw, if you're gonna talk about Smash tonight, tell people to get Rivals of Aether, it's basically an indie retro Smash but it's kinda cool
Thank you for coming to my TED talk guys
Oh one more, I was at Nintendo NY when the first trailer for Smash Bros for Switch came out on the Direct and yes
The crowd was just as explosive as in thd videos.SpiderShan
I got Smash 64 in college and my roommate and my friends from high school (we went to a local college) played the heck out of it! After Mario Kart it was probably our most played multiplayer game. I’ve never been all that great at Smash but still buy every iteration of the game. I always mained Link but have started playing more Simon Belmont and Dragon Quest Hero in Ultimate.
