Katrina Chan is the Executive Director of QBO Innovation Hub, a Philippine Innovation Hub and start up platform which she co-founded in 2016. Since the lockdown started, they conducted more than 160 programs benefitting all start ups, reaching more than 36,000 participants online. Aside from that, she previously served as Head of Growth and Strategy at Ideaspace, the Philippines largest private start up accelarator.
Following the announcement of her new role as the Executive Director, QBO Innovation Hub and Ideaspace announced the restructuring in their organization. QBO's program have also expanded to include the Annual Philippine Start-Up week, a large-scale conference showcasing the Philippines' startup community.
Katrina obtained her BS in Materials Science and Engineering, with a double major in Business administration at Carnegie Mellon University. On top of that, she is also the recipient of several accolades including the United Nations Asia Pacific Women Empowerment Principles' regional award for Youth Leadership and the first Mansmith Innovation Awards which recognized her as Enterprise Innovator for Business Model Innovation.
