Some times in our lives we just need a good "shaking" to get our attention. Sometimes we need a good shaking to get us out of the mode of thinking that we are in and into a better one. Sometimes we need a good shaking to think clearly and change the path that we are on. Shaking is God's way of removing things that do not belong like shaking a blanket to rid it of things that do not belong on it, so that things that do belong may remain. He has plans to correct the things in our lives by shaking us. It's God's way of cleaning house, of ridding our lives of the things that are harmful to us so that things that He has for us may remain. We can mistake this shaking as though God is mad at us. Pastor Todd takes us into the scripture to show us how this shaking is God's way of helping us grow into newness of life.
