The New Carp

Ep. 33: Prozac Days and Sleepless Hours

Listen Later

Here's this week's playlist:
"Fortunate Son" - John Fogerty feat. Foo Fighters: Dave Grohl & Co. help John Fogerty turn this hard-rocking Creedence classic up to 11!
"Age of Reason" - Black Sabbath: Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, and Geezer Butler are back with a brand-new album with Brad Wilk of Rage Against The Machine sitting in for drummer Bill Ward.  This track is about how the age we currently live in is filled with so much unreason.
"I Ain't Superstitious" - Santana feat. Jonny Lang: An infectious infusion of blues and Latin rock, this may be Jonny Lang's best recording yet.
"Promise" - Slash feat. Chris Cornell: The Soundgarden frontman joins Slash for an excellent power ballad.
"Monkey Suit" - Elton John & Leon Russell: A fun, upbeat number from The Union.
"Immigrant Song" - Karen O, Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross: The Nine Inch Nails frontman and his collaborators cover a Led Zeppelin song for the Girl with a Dragon Tattoo soundtrack.
"I'm Free (Live)" - The Who: A great live cut from their legendary Hull City Hall performance in 1970.
"At Last" - Jeff Lynne: The ELO frontman puts his own unique spin on this Etta James blues classic.
