We are so excited to bring you another hot episode of the Diamond Hands Podcast with Katie Sweetman, RN owner of Sweet Tox, LLC. In this episode we revisit her past and how she transitioned from wanting to become a makeup artist, to her journey into nursing and path into aesthetics. She talks about how she networked her way to success and was not afraid to pay for the right information and invest in herself and her business. Further, she drives home the point that if you can read you can literally do anything and this was one of her powers when she was carving her path to business ownership. In addition, as a strong and recognizable brand, she talks about the importance of accurate lighting and angles for before and afters, attracting what you put out, and how the process of branding starts from the experience before a patient visits the website, books, during and after service. In addition, she discusses so many leadership concepts and we cannot stress enough that the WORK IS INTERNAL and this is where the magic begins.

About Katie:
Katie Sweetman is a Registered Nurse and owner/founder of Sweet Tox. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with her bachelors degree in 2015 and is currently pursuing her Masters Degree in Nursing to become a Nurse Practitioner.
Katie created Sweet Tox while working full time as an ICU RN and then as a plastic surgery nurse. Her passion for her clients and the art of injectables quickly shined through and after a quick 2 years, she took the leap and quit her full time nursing job to take on Sweet Tox full time. Now, Katie's fastly growing team includes her fiancé, two nurse injectors, assistants, brand managers and administrative officers.
Katie continues to cultivate beauty and self love through her vision, team and injectable community.
