Question of the week

16bitnomad — 05/28/2021

Saw this on another forum and thought it would be an interesting one for everyone here…what’s an embarrassing video game confession?? One of mine is I actually liked Too Human for the 360.

twodollarhero — 05/28/2021

I’ve talked about this in a few different places and it’s been my cross to bear for decades now. My biggest “confession” or guilty pleasure is my unironic appreciation for Superman 64.

It’s indefensible. I cannot justify it. The game is awful. But when it came out, I loved it. It let me be Superman, and that was good enough for me. That’s the beginning and end of my argument for the game. It makes no earthly sense, but I cannot bring myself to hate it.

Flightsy — 05/28/2021

Everyone says Skyward sword was too handholdy, but I remember when I got it from the library I got stuck

JasonLee — Yesterday at 8:44 AM

I remember getting stuck very early in the Deku Tree in OoT. I mean like 30 minutes of being stuck. I’m not certain but I think I didn’t realize fire would burn the spider webs until I did it by accident.

txtrey — Yesterday at 8:50 AM

I rented oot, got stuck at the same place in the deku tree for the whole 5 days of the rental. Never went back to the game after that

I played OoT the day it released in ‘98.  I had played Zelda 2 on NES and Link to the Past on SNES before that but OoT was altogether different.

ChrisHL94Rewind 🇨🇦 — Yesterday at 10:21 PM

I used to play football games with my friends and no matter what the console I would find the worst way to lose.

A close second has to be how much I suck at first person shooter games like Halo or Gears of War.

Throwback Thursday

Tell me about a time as a kid that you got a game as a gift. Who gave it to you, and what significance does it hold in your life today?
