From centuries past, there was a time when Kings and Queens ruled to bring law and order to society.  

Fast forward to the 21st century, and royal families still exist in our modern-day world, but what relevance do they have in it?  

I mean sure they are involved in important charity and humanitarian work, but you certainly don't need to be from royal bloodlines to be a leader in philanthropy.....but some would argue the status of a Royal could help.
