Hiya love,
I haven’t recorded a podcast for a few weeks. Sorry about that
Partly because we moved house. Partly because I’ve been blending families.
But mostly because, if I’m honest, I burned out from working too hard.
The irony hasn’t escaped me that this month’s theme inside Magic Divorce Club is…
productivity.
Yet there I was, exhausted, overwhelmed with an ever longer to-do list and wondering where all my energy had gone.
The thing I’ve realised (again) is that productivity during hard times (divorce being top of the list) isn’t about squeezing more into your day.
It’s about creating enough safety, space and rejuvenation that you can actually function.
So I’ve been re-learning all these lesson, just in time to share them in this month’s Workshop, Productivity for Divorce, tomorrow at midday.
When you’re going through divorce you’re often trying to parent, work, make legal decisions, process grief and somehow keep everything else ticking along.
It’s exhausting.
In this week’s podcast I’m talking about:
✨ Why I ended up in burnout after moving house
✨ The productivity trap so many women fall into during divorce
✨ Why “self-care” isn’t a luxury, it’s essential maintenance
✨ The surprising reason slowing down can actually help you move forward faster
If you’ve been feeling exhausted, stuck, overwhelmed or like you’re constantly running on empty, I think you’ll really relate to this one.
👆Listen above or wherever you get your podcast.
And if you’d like to go deeper, tomorrow I’m running a workshop all about productivity during divorce. Not the hustle-and-grind version.
The calm, sustainable version.
The version where you stop waiting until burnout forces you to stop.
I hope to see you there.
You’ve got this. And I’ve got you.
