As I celebrate the anniversary of me becoming a wife to my partner, I share with you the generalized tools I use in my everyday relationships with my partner, friends, and family. These are great tools that I've gathered over the years and practice- to maintain and build healthy relationships in my life. I hope that you either get a refresher or find some great tools for you that maybe you never knew before and from here you expand your strength in being a better person. ◡̈


Tools spoken in video (watch to receive in depth explanations)-

1. 𝗕𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗙𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗿 𝗪𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 so there isn't constant problems rising.

2. 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗹𝗮𝘄𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆'𝗿𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴.

3. 𝗕𝗲 𝗮 "𝗻𝗼" 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 "𝗻𝗼" 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 (don't be a "yes" person all the time).

4. 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝗼 𝗻𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁. You can always speak from how you FEEL so that it doesn't blame others. No one can tell you what you do or don't feel.

5. 𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽- 1. Being present to occasions or special events (meals, funerals, parties, showers etc.) 2. Listening as much as you talk and talk as much as you listen. 3. Spending money as evenly as possible or understanding each other's spending style and compromising.

6. 𝗕𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻, 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲, 𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝘂𝗴 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁.
