Kathy Ziola is passionate about authenticity, living with presence and compassion, and helping others do the same. Nonviolent Communication has been her path of learning and teaching since 2005. As a certified trainer with the Center for Nonviolent Communication, she has been facilitating training, trainer training, and coaching in a wide variety of settings transforming lives and relationships with compassion and laser sharp insight. Her business, Communication Works, is based in Loveland, Colorado.

Highlights of her development include a BS degree in Human Development and Family Studies and an MA in Agency Counseling, certifications in massage therapy, yoga, and meditation instruction, and as a Reiki master. Kathy's thirty-five plus years as a psychotherapist, group facilitator, and healing arts professional have given her deep experience and understanding of our shared humanity and interpersonal relating. While she has enjoyed travel, Kathy has lived most of her life in Colorado where she raised two daughters, loving and sharing in the great outdoors. She enjoys hiking, biking, camping, and cross-country skiing. Nature nourishes her and rejuvenates her being. Spending time in it helps her sustain balance and health with joy and fun.
