Colin Hay has reinvented himself as a songwriter, recording artist and performer since the breakup of Men At Work 30 years ago. It's taken quite a few years, but through regular touring — and some key appearances on film and TV soundtracks — he has built up a loyal fan base as a solo artist.
Hay visited Dad Rock HQ for a revealing and sometimes emotional conversation with Jim Lenahan and fill-in co-host Maeve McDermott of USA TODAY's Life section. (Patrick Foster had "dad business" to attend to.)
