So many times, the focus is on the wife’s perspective. But what if we explored divorce from the husband’s perspective? What if we attempt to understand his emotions, his pain and motives? Listen as Dr. Bernadette Atanga, a physician, speaker, and leadership coach with more than 30 years of experience in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics with special interest in Emotional Health and Cultural and author of Beneath the Armor: 8 Practical Strategies for Men to Embrace Vulnerability and Lead with Authentic Strength" shares her unique insight gleaned from her experiences with men going through divorce.

We often think of divorce as a male driven event, with many men moving on to new lives without a look back. But that is not the rule in every case. Divorce can be exceptionally challenging for men and it often leads to feelings of grief, loss, and a disruption of their identity and sense of purpose. Many men struggle to process the emotional fallout, as they grieve over the loss of their roles in the family, which can lead to depression and loneliness.  Let’s take a step forward in deepening our understanding of divorce from the husband’s perspective. Dr. Atanga discusses:
