Gerald Stano was born to a young suspected prostitute.  It was believed that he was neglected as soon as he was born due to his mother needing to work.  

He was adopted by a great family but that wasn't enough to curtail his desire to murder.  He was bullied in school and later would go on to murder up to 88 victims though not all of them have been confirmed.
