Susan Santoro is an Air Force Veteran, military wife, mom, entrepreneur and volunteer. She has always been passionate about being organized and keeping things simple. When her husband kept getting relocated every year she found it hard to get new jobs each time so she decided to create her own job and created Organized 31.
We talk about our love of bullet journaling but how we both keep it super simple (even though there are plenty of beautiful bullet journal pages you can do). Susan recommends looking up minimalist bullet journals to get some ideas.
I have really started liking my bullet journal! Here are some of my favorite supplies: Leuchtturm1917 journal, Staedtler fine liner color pens, Uni-ball impact gel pen or Bic Atlantis retractacble pen, rulers, and a few stickers for fun!
Did you know The Things She Does is now on Pinterest? Follow the show there for great pins on travel, fashion, lifestyle, lifehacks, fitness and more.
"Hard work is how you do things."Some of the things that Susan does NOT do includes the PTA, keeping a rigid schedule (although she did more when her kids were young) and beating herself up. She is committed to showing herself more grace and every day trying to do just a bit better.
Here is a link to the checklists Susan mentions and to her book A Year of Decluttering Motivation (or you can also find it on Amazon).
