As for my personal experience, the first time I went to the archive, I was met by the Vice-Director and he was so astonished because it was the first time a woman went to do research alone, on her own, that he forced me to send a note of authorization to the Minister of Public Instruction…”
These words belong to the Argentine historian Beatriz Bosch, in an interview conducted by Teresa Suarez in 2007, and outline one of the many experiences she had to endure in her long and prolific life, which we present in today's program. Researcher, teacher, firm, independent and self-taught, her love for history and her commitment to her objects of study are some of the qualities that can define a professional of such relevance for her region, as well as for her country.
We are especially grateful for the participation of Lorenzo Del Valle, who collaborated with his voice and translation of the texts into Guarani
