Begging near traffic signals, prostitution, and blessing people on auspicious occasions. This is the harsh reality for many trans people in India. But the fact we often ignore on don't realize even realize is that directly or indirectly, we, as a society, are responsible for their condition. Being disowned by their own families, lack of access to education and unavailability of jobs often forces them into begging and prostitution.

But still, amidst all these struggles times are changing and so are the ways some transgenders choose to live their lives.
