A note from Mama C:  To be clear…all rehabilitation achieved by Bobby is done solely by his efforts and desires. Like many states throughout our county, our failed mass incarceration system offers little to no actual rehabilitation. As if prison life in America isn’t daunting enough, imagine not only trying to survive, but learn, grow, and become a better person without any help or tools while surrounded by complete disorder and confusion. In fact - Michigan state prisons are DESIGNED to prevent rehabilitation, and I am very proud of Bobby and the growth he’s been able to accomplish while behind bars. Not only that, but he’s also using his accomplishments to help others.
