The Breonna Taylor ruling was recently announced, and I'm hella not ok. Assuming I'm not alone, I decided to do a two-part series on self-care for busy women of color. Right now, self-care is not a luxury. It never has been, especially for women of color, but we often make the excuse that we are too busy to add self-care to our daily or weekly routines.
Because I want women of color to thrive and not simply survive, here are eight ways to add self-care. Some will take less than 10 minutes to shift your mood, while others can be the cure you've been looking for to ease your exhaustion and stress.
