-Question 1: Read Exodus 20:3-7; Deuteronomy 4:35,39; Isaiah 43:10; Isaiah 45:22. Does Only One God Exist? The New Testament repeatedly states that “there is only one God”. Why does God in the Old Testament seem different in the New Testament? Is it wrong to refer to Jesus as God?
-Question 2: Read John 1:1-3 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made.
What do we learn about Jesus from this passage? Was there a time Jesus didn’t exist? Was there anything made that didn’t come through Jesus? What type of being is described in this passage? (A creator, a God) Who then, is Jesus?
