When Christians or others speak of Adam as the first sinner, this

comes from the Apostle Paul where he states, “Therefore, just as

through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin,

and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned.” (Romans 5:12)

rebelled, and also Eve sinned, prior to Adam’s disobedience.

-Question 2: Read John 1:1-3 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made.

What do we learn about Jesus from this passage? Was there a time Jesus didn’t exist? Was there anything made that didn’t come through Jesus? What type of being is described in this passage? (A creator, a God) Who then, is Jesus?

- Scripture: Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
